The interiors of the office for a law firm in Baramati, Maharashtra, has been designed by restoring the basic house elements. The office has built up area of 345 sq ft. The primary objective was to keep the shekhawati elements of the house, which was converted into the lawyer’s office. The client’s objective was to keep the budget low and at the same time have a vernacular contemporary style for the space. Restoration exemplifies recycling and upcycling, which is one of the most effective methods to design sustainable spaces.
