The farm house was designed for a craft lover and antique collector on the outskirts of of Kolhapur in Maharashtra. The farmhouse with built up area of 2000 sq ft. resonates vernacular contemporary style of design. The structure is a laterite house designed as an ensemble of Indian crafts. Every nook and corner speaks of the usage of indigenous craft practices of our country. The use of material gives the entire house a warm and cozy feel. Preserving and creating with the craft practices was the major objective while designing the spaces.
